Colquitt County also contains eight quail hunting preserves and is a mecca for hunting bobwhite quail, wild turkey, deer, and dove.

The Sunbelt Agricultural Exposition is held annually each October in Moultrie at Spence Field. This exposition is the largest farm show in the Southeast and attracts over 200,000 attendees. The latest technology in all phases of the farming industry is displayed during the multi-day event, as well as, demonstrations and exhibits.
