App Sued for Deaths

An app has been accused of being the cause of a 6-year-old girl’s death in traffic.
App Uber has been accused of being an accomplice in a 6-year-old girl’s death, new year’s Eve night in San Fransisco, California.
The girl was run down as she crossed the street, by an inattentive driver, who was engrossed in his smartphone-specifically in the app Uber. Uber intermediary lifts, between professional taxis and passengers. Uber is comparable with the European app Drivr.
In sagsanlæget argued, among other things, that Uber has responsibility for drivers ‘ (bad) drive, since the driver has to react quickly to requests from potential customers via the app-thus envisaged that this takes place while driving, thus removing the driver’s attention from the road.
In the suit argues further that Uber does not have done his to tell its drivers how they can safely use the app.
